Chris has been licensed to practice law since 2020. While he practices in a variety of areas, he primarily works in Estate Planning, Probate, Trust Administration, Business Planning and Taxation.
Born and raised on Maui, Chris moved to Oregon for college where he graduated from George Fox University with a BA in accounting. After graduation, he spent one year working as an auditor for Carbonaro CPAs and Management Group. He then attended Baylor Law School where he received the Dean’s Academic Excellence Scholarship, a full-tuition scholarship. While in law school, he served as the technical editor of the Baylor Law Review and received the Pakis, Giotes, Page & Burleson, P.C. Tax Law Award. He graduated law school and received his Texas bar admission in 2020.
He began his career working in the law firm of Sheehy, Lovelace & Mayfield, PC, the oldest law firm in central Texas. His practice in that firm consisted of Estate Planning, Contracts, Condominium Governance, and Family Law.
In 2022, Chris returned to Maui and obtained his Hawaii bar admission. He worked in the tax department of Carbonaro CPAs during the 2022 and 2023 tax seasons and formed Carbonaro Law LLLC in 2023. He currently practices in the areas of Estate Planning, Probate, Business Planning, and Trust Administration.
Chris currently resides in Wailuku. Outside of the office, he enjoys reading, disc golf, and cooking. He teaches Sunday school and volunteers with various youth organizations.
